Racks for 2D barcoded AlteTubes. Designed for short or long term storage down to cryogenic temperatures.
Temperature range: -196°C to 121°C
Available for 0.5ml, 0.75ml, 1.1ml and 1.4ml 2D coded tubes in 96 SBS racks, and for 1.2ml, 2ml and 5ml 2D coded tubes in 48 SBS rack
SBS/ANSI standards
Store 48 tubes in 6×4 format or 96 tubes in 8×12 format. Compatible with automation equipment for processing of 4, 6, 8, 12, 48 or 96 tubes.
Sample tracking
Capture and decode 48 or 96 tube 2D barcodes simultaneously on a SBS format rack barcode reader.
Rack identification
Embedded 2D barcode on the rack base with matching 1D barcode and human readable code on the rack A1 short side.
Anti-rotate rack
Tubes grip in place allowing easy capping or decapping by hand or with automation equipment.
Locking hinged lid
Securely close and lock rack lids for safe storage and shipping of samples.
Detached lid
Full access to the tubes for processing by hand or automation equipment.
